The India NGO of the Year Award ran for a second year attracting an increased number of high quality entries. Foundations were laid for starting Award programmes in Malaysia and Kenya.

Fundraising courses were launched in four new locations - Delhi (India), Kampala (Uganda), Bogota (Colombia, in Spanish) and Moscow (Russia, in Russian) - bringing the total number of courses now set up to seven. A further six courses will be launched in 2008 including the Philippines, Brazil (in Portuguese), Ghana, and three new cities in India.

Our training and advice services expanded with an increase number of clients involving work in a range of countries around the world. Our pool of local trainers was expanded and strengthened.

During the year we supported regional workshops in Mexico, India, the Philippines, and Kenya and gave assistance to newly formed fundraising associations in Malaysia and the Philippines.

Our website was re-launched with a new design and additional features including 'Ask a Guru' - a free advice line where fundraisers around the world can get expert answers to their questions. We now have full online booking and payment capability for our events.
