CEE bags ‘India NGO Award 2007’

City-based NGO Centre for Environment Education (CEE) has been awarded the ‘India NGO Award 2007’ for the Western region last week.

The ‘India NGO Awards’ acknowledge and felicitate organisations that are setting and promoting best practices in resource mobilisation, accountability and transparency. These awards recognise excellence in the non-profit sector. The ‘India NGO Awards’ were instituted in 2006 as a joint initiative of the Resource Alliance and the Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation. The awards promote cross-regional learning and overall credibility of the non-profit sector for long-term sustainability.
