NGO of the year

Union finance minister P Chidambaram felicitated Goonj as the ‘NGO of the Year 2007’ at the Annual India NGO Awards ceremony organised by the Resource Alliance and the Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation in Delhi recently. NR Narayanamurthy, chief mentor of Infosys Technologies, shared the dais as the guest of honour and awarded and awarded the three national winners – Goonj in the small category, The Banyan and The Childline Foundation for India for the medium category and CRY in the large category.
