Building Foundations for Sustainability?

The 2008 Balkan Fundraising Conference, organised by the Mozaik Foundation and the Resource Alliance, aimed to deliver the best experts and examples from the world of fundraising, both internationally and from the local region.

The workshop took place at the Hotel Hollywood in Ilidza, Sarajevo from 16th – 19th September 2008 and included an optional 1-day EC Log Frame development workshop.

The workshop was attended by delegates from non-governmental and civil society organisations, foundations, and others interested in the field of fundraising.

The comprehensive programme included workshops, plenaries, panel sessions and more, ranging from FR strategy to Direct Mail. The workshop also featured plenty of opportunities for group networking for participants, speakers and organisers to share knowledge and success stories in fundraising.

The EC Log Frame workshop on 16th September was attended by those interested in learning more about applying for EU grants, while the main workshop programme featured international speakers as well as expertise from the local region.  Participants also had the opportunity to hear about success stories from Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
