Bursary places to attend the 9th IWRM - apply now!
50 free training bursaries to attend the 9th IWRM in India, 2009 - deadline 10th March.
The Resource Alliance are offering 50 free places for local NGOs in the global South to attend the 9th International Workshop on Resource Mobilisation (IWRM) 25-28 June 2009 in India.
The bursary places offered through the Fundraisers Fund covers the cost of a full 3-day registration place (26-28 June). The deadline for bursary applications is the 10th March 2009.
Application criteria
- The applicant should have some practical experience of fundraising.
- The applicant should be someone who would benefit professionally from exposure to resource mobilisation training, i.e. they have to be able to make use of the IWRM experience.
- The applicant should be a national from a non- OECD country working outside of the OECD
- The applicant should be fluent in English.
- The applicant's organisation must have insufficient training budgets to be able to afford to send the applicant to the IWRM
- The applicant should not have not attended the IWRM before or International Fundraising Congress (IFC) before
Applicants should include the following details in their application (see below):
- Name, date of birth, contact details, nationality
- Brief résumé of previous fundraising experience
- Current role
- Major achievements in resource mobilisation
- Statement of how attending the IWRM will benefit their work
- Two independent references
The applicants can also include examples of fundraising materials in support of their application.
